To create my wood grain texture, I cut the haunted house die and card mat from chipboard and then used Black Soot Distress Ink to add my base shading.

Next for my Ink blended background, I used the Brea Reese Alcohol Inks and dripped them randomly onto plain white Yuppo Paper. I then used a straw to blow the inks in different directions, and blend them together to create movement and texture.

I then stamped the cutie witch from the Let's Dress Up Stamp Set onto blending cardstock and colored her with the Copic Marker colors listed above. To finish I attached all of my card layers with foam tape for some added dimension.

LDRS Creative: Pixie Pals

Hello Everyone! Today I am so excited to share with you a Unicorn themed card that I created for inspiration this week featuring some Amazing Stamps, Dies, and Stencils from LDRS Creative.
For my card I am showcasing the Beautiful Pixie Pals Clear Stamp Set,  Coordinating Dies, and Stencil. I just Love how versatile the stamps, dies, stencils, and inks are from LDRS Creative, and how they can be used for so many different occasions and projects. Now here is what I created:

To create my card first I cut my card base layers with the Slimline Corner Scalloped Die set from the Candy Counter Paper Pack, White Glitter Cardstock, and plain white watercolor paper. Then I die cut the Clouds using the By the Sea Die, and the castle in the clouds using the From the Lighthouse Die.

Next I ink blended my cloud layers using the Tropical Sea and Bali Blue Hybrid Inks. To create more depth and pattern to my clouds and sky, I placed the Ocean Waves Stencil over the areas I just ink blended, and added a second layer of color. Then at the bottom of the lowest cloud layer, I used the Under the Sea Stencil with the Bali Blue to add some contrast and texture.

To complete my cloud scene I stamped and colored the Beautiful Unicorns and Fairies from this set with Alcohol Markers and added them to the front of my card with foam squares for some added dimension.

Also don't forget to join in all the fun by adding your creations to the
LDRS Creative Facebook Fan Page
